The Challenge

A leading global financial institution needed a user-friendly interface to help business teams generate custom reports on the fly—without depending on IT support.

The goal was to design a responsive dashboard application that allowed users to create, configure, and export data reports quickly and intuitively. The tool needed to support data visualizations, filtering, scheduling, and real-time previews across both desktop and tablet devices.

The Solution

We ran a UX design challenge to build a responsive web dashboard optimized for business reporting. The user flow covered all key actions: creating new projects, selecting data views (grids or charts), applying calculations and filters, previewing results, and exporting reports as PDFs.

Users could also build composite reports from saved modules. The design focused on simplicity, auto-suggestions, and real-time feedback, ensuring that reports could be built and shared in just a few clicks.
