The Challenge
A global wealth provider needed a secure, multilingual mobile app for plan holders to manage and view investment portfolios. The challenge was to design and build a digital platform that offered intuitive navigation, real-time financial data, multilingual support, and secure communication features.
The project needed to address the growing expectation for seamless digital experiences, especially for managing complex financial information on mobile devices.
The Solution
Topcoder launched a series of crowdsourced challenges to deliver this mobile application. First, UI designers from around the world competed to create visually appealing, accessible, and brand-aligned designs. The app included features like onboarding, plan overviews, fund holding breakdowns, real-time value insights, secure document access, user profile management, and multilingual support.
These designs were then converted into a working Flutter-based app in two frontend development challenges. Developers integrated the UI with mock APIs and ensured performance across both Android and iOS devices, following Dart and Flutter best practices.
