TopCoder College Tour SRM Overview

The Event

TopCoder is sponsoring an onsite programming competition at Belarusian State University on Wednesday 09.26.2007.

Registration for this event ends on Monday 09.24.2007 11:59 PM MSD.

The event is from 05:30 PM MSD until 08:00 PM MSD in hall of Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (Nezavisimosti avenue, 4, 5th floor). This event is being run in conjunction with Single Round Match 367 . In addition to registering with TopCoder, all competitors must register here and be onsite for the competition. In addition to the programming contest, TopCoder will provide food and give a presentation on the benefits of TopCoder membership.

Prizes

• 1st place prize - 4GB iPod Nano
• 2nd place prize - 4GB USB Flash Drive
• 3rd place prize - Logitech MX100 Wireless mouse

All competitors will receive a TopCoder t-shirt. Placement in the SRM will be determined by the total number of points at the conclusion of the SRM. The competitor with the highest total positive (i.e., greater than zero) points will finish in 1st place. The overall winner will receive the 1st place prize, the 2nd place finisher will receive the 2nd place prize, and the 3rd place finisher will receive the 3rd place prize.

Event Schedule

The timeline for Wednesday 09.26.2007:

• 05:30 PM EEST - Computer lab opens & competitors set up
• 06:00 PM EEST - Competition starts
• 07:35 PM EEST - Competition ends
• 08:30 PM EEST - Preliminary results announced

And for Thursday 09.27.2007

• 07:00 PM EEST - Award ceremony (TopCoder presentation, official results, prizes, souvenirs, food).
